I’m a 4th yr biochemistry major from San Diego, California! I love playing and listening to music, hiking and the outdoors, and traveling to new places. I joined BEI because I loved interacting with older adults and getting to make an impact on health in the process.

Eddie Nash

VP Student Relations

I'm a 3rd yr Human Biology and Society major from Thousand Oaks, CA. I'm a research assistant in the UCLA Drug Discovery Lab and also involved in UCLA’s Student Government and volunteer at the Stein Eye Institute conducting equity-based research.

Aniket Das

I'm a 3rd yr Computational and Systems Biology major and Neuro minor from the SF Bay Area. I assist with clinical research at UCSF and am premed. I also enjoy key smashing pianos and wrestling with our dogs.

Joanna Kim

Secretary

I am a 3rd yr Neuroscience major and English minor! I'm involved with a Microbiology research lab as well as other neuro-based clubs. I volunteer at a children’s hospital and hope to pursue a career in medicine. In my free time I like to snowboard, bullet journal, read classic lit, and experiment with new coffee recipes.

I'm a 4th year Biochemistry major interested in Neurology, sports, and birds. I do Alzheimer's research at UCSF and this club suited my interests and the want to help others.

I’m a 4th year Molecular Cellular Developmental Biology major, minoring in Applied Developmental Psychology, from San Francisco, California! You can find me working in the Kasari Research lab, debating at Bruin Book Club, or eating out at Sawtelle with my friends. :))

Prarthna Chabria

I'm a 2nd yr Neuroscience major. On campus, I'm a research assistant at the Brain Connectivity and Cognition Lab and a Neuropharmacology lab. I enjoy traveling, backpacking, trying new foods, playing and watching soccer, F1 and animal volunteering! I joined BEI to get involved in the community and help senior citizens slow Alzheimer's progression.
